Quality Assurance Specialist - Suppliers

We are looking for an experienced QA Specialist - Suppliers to guarantee the quality of organic products from our (international) suppliers. You will become an expert in your own product category and be responsible for the complete QA process at our suppliers, including sampling, analysis, audits and specification management. Help DO IT Organic ensure that our suppliers' organic products meet the highest quality standards. You will be the first point of contact when it comes to supplier quality and work closely with colleagues from other departments.

What makes this role extra interesting: you will be assigned your own product category. This allows you to really delve into the origin, composition and quality of “your” products, and become an expert in them. You regularly interact with international suppliers, but also with internal stakeholders. Your insights will contribute directly to our mission for a 100% organic food chain.

As QA Specialist - Suppliers, you will be responsible for:

Organising and monitoring sampling processes.
Analysing and reviewing test results.
Approve suppliers and products.
Conducting supplier audits.
Follow up on supplier quality issues.
Recording all relevant specifications, certifications etc. of products. Also known as, specification management.

At DO IT Organic, you have a lot of influence. Your expertise is listened to carefully. Because of supplier audits, you will also get the chance to travel abroad occasionally together with the category manager.

During your onboarding, you will be paired with a buddy who will show you around our organisation. We believe in learning by doing: you will quickly grow in your role thanks to a practical, ‘learning on the job’-trajectory.

You will work at our office in Barneveld, which is directly connected to our large warehouse where our organic products are stored. You can arrange your days flexibly between 7:30am and 6pm.

What are you bringing to the table?

You hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Bachelor's, Master's, MBO/HBO) in a field like Food Technology or Quality Assurance.
You have at least 4 years' experience within Quality Assurance in the food industry.
You are preferably available full-time (40 hours).
You have excellent command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
You have strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with suppliers.

What do we offer?

When you join us as a QA Specialist Suppliers you will get:

Salary between € 3,500 and € 4,100 gross per month depending on your knowledge, skills and experience.
Premium-free pension scheme: we pay your share!
24 holiday days and 8% holiday pay (paid out in May).
Annual profit distribution in the event of a positive operating result. (paid out in the second quarter).
Your commuting expenses (€ 0.23 per km from 10 km) are calculated and paid automatically. So you do not need to submit any expenses.

Every two weeks a catered lunch (optional) for a contribution of €3.95 gross each time.
