Machine Operator (40 hours)

For our Packaging department in Barneveld, we are immediately looking for a Machine Operator with affinity for the (organic) food sector. Our organisation

We believe we can contribute to a sustainable and fairer world by accelerating the development of organic agriculture and trade in organic food ingredients and consumer brands. We do this by importing and distributing 100% organic food ingredients from around the world, where we share knowledge and resources with our suppliers. In our packaging department, ingredients are packed into consumer and food service units destined for the European market. In addition, DO IT Organic owns two consumer brands distributed mainly in Europe. DO IT Organic is characterised by short lines of communication and a flat corporate culture.

About the position

As a Machine Operator, you will have the following responsibilities:

You will manage the Packaging employees;
You are involved in carrying out health & safety and personnel matters (working safely and hygienically);
You produce on time, in accordance with the agreements made with the customer and planning;
You fix minor faults on the packaging machine (or have them fixed);
You supervise the maintenance of the machines;

Who are we looking for?

We would like to meet a candidate with a hands-on mentality,who functions well both independently and in a team and has a technical affinity for machinery. In addition, you are accurate, results-oriented and solution-oriented.

In addition, you will bring with you:

Where possible, basic knowledge of a packaging machine;
Problem-solving ability;
A good command of the Dutch language (verbal and written);
General knowledge of food products is a pré;
Technical insight is a pré;
