Junior Supply & Planning Coordinator (40 hours)

    About the position

    As Junior Supply and Planning Coördinator, you will be in contact with suppliers all over the world. You ensure the smooth running of the incoming order flow for road and sea transport and you are responsible for the stock of organic products together with our suppliers. You will also provide active and administrative support in the purchasing process.

    As Junior Supply and Planning Coördinator, you will have the following responsibilities:

    • To follow up, process and monitor purchase orders based on contracted food ingredients by the Category manager;
    • Ensuring timely road and sea transport;
    • Calling for purchase orders from suppliers;
    • Monitoring delivery times and identifying and discussing unforeseen circumstances;
    • informing and coordinating the supply of food ingredients with various internal departments;
    • Taking care of processing and cleaning of food ingredients;
    • Coordinating direct deliveries to customers;
    • Supervising the return flow;
    • Keeping information in the ERP system up to date;
    • Providing active and administrative support in the procurement process;

    You will report to the Category Manager and be in frequent contact with all disciplines.

    Who are we looking for?

    We would like to meet a Junior Supply and Planning Coördinator who is straight out of school or already has several years' experience in a similar role. In addition, you will bring with you:

    • A completed HBO or MBO-4 education, preferably in the direction of international trade;
    • Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to work stimulatingly in a team;
    • You have good written and oral communication skills in both Dutch and English;
    • You are accurate, self-starting, driven, flexible, curious, stress-resistant and proactive, results-oriented and solution-oriented. You know how to set priorities and have progressive insight and a critical attitude. You have experience booking road and sea transport with external partners and you are alert to compliance with procedures;
    • Knowledge of SCM, ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SLIM4 is a pré;
    • Affinance with organic food products;
