Finance officer (32-40 hours)

About the position
In your role as Finance Officer, you will be responsible for performing various financialële tasks to ensure that our organisation's financialële processes run smoothly. You will support your colleagues’in the Finance department in, among other things, processing the administration with a focus on debtor management. You are the spider in the web in the Finance team. As you gain more knowledge and experience with us, your range of tasks will keep increasing!
You will have the following responsibilities:
- You will liaise with customers and ensure that payments arrive on time and, when necessary, prepare credit notes’s and assist with complaints procedures.
- Payment processing, this involves paying our suppliers and ensuring that collections’s work with our customers and in the administration.
- Manage credit limits. At our credit insurer, we always have to be keen on our customers' credit limits and ongoing issues are updated. In this, you play an important role in keeping everything in order.
- Cooperation with our commercialële colleagues’s on ongoing procedures with customers and suppliers.
- Processing and support on other financialële processes.
As a Finance Officer, you will work in a friendly and enthusiastic team of 6 colleagues’s and report to the Group Controller.
Who are we looking for?
- You have at least a completed MBO-4/HBO education, preferably in the (financial) administrative direction;
- You have at least 3 years' work experience in a similar position;
- Debit and credit are logical terms for you and you understand how journal entries work;
- You have knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and administrative systems;
- Good written and oral expression skills in Dutch and English;
- You are confident and like to ensure that agreements are kept;
- You ask questions and think proactively about how things can be improved;
- Commercial sensitivity to think along with account managers and our buyers;
