Employee Technical Service (32-40 hours)

Are you darn handy and solution-oriented? In other words, do you enjoy looking into how we can improve bottlenecks in various work and maintenance processes? Are you interested? Then we are looking for you!

As our current TD-er wants to gradually work towards a well-earned retirement, we are looking for a technical services employee who can eventually take over the role completely.

Our organisation

We are DO IT ORGANIC, a successful, international and fast-growing company operating in the market for 100% organic food ingredients. We believe we can contribute to a sustainable and better world by accelerating the transition from conventional to organic agriculture. We make this possible by supplying high-quality qualified and fully organic food ingredients and consumer products. We are passionate about generating sustainable impact. Our company structure is characterised by short lines of communication, enabling us to respond quickly to new developments.

About the job

As a Technical Service Employee, you will be responsible for minor technical maintenance, fault registration, and the monthly check-up/annual inspections of machines. You will also assist in the installation of new equipment. You play an essential role in building management, performing minor maintenance on the building and liaising with the manager and owner of the building. You make improvement proposals in response to bottlenecks in work and maintenance processes and you supervise external parties, also overseeing the work they do for our company. You actively help optimise the energy management of the building, with a focus on electricity and gas consumption. You also make an important contribution to compliance with various safety and maintenance guidelines. As a Technical Service Employee, you will report to the Logistics Manager and have a lot of contact with all departments.

Who are we looking for?

We would like to meet a Technical Service Employee who has experience in a similar position. In addition, you will bring with you:

  • A completed MBO education, preferably with a technical background (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and/or mechanics), supplemented by at least two years' experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to work stimulatingly in a team;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
  • You can plan and organise well, have technical insight and experience with maintenance of machines and installations. Experience with property management is a pré
  • You are accurate, driven, flexible, stress-resistant and proactive, results-oriented and solution-oriented. You know how to set priorities and you have progressive insight and ask the right questions to achieve the goal.
  • Knowledge and affinity with the organic sector in terms of products, quality control, safety, health and environment is a pré.

What can you expect from us?

We offer a fun and challenging position within an enthusiastic and driven team. You will join a dynamic company that is growing rapidly, giving you opportunities for further development. You will be given a lot of responsibility and encouraged to actively contribute to the development of our company. In return, you will also be given a lot of freedom and your own input. We offer employment with a competitive salary with the prospect of a permanent contract, 24 days off per year on the basis of full-time employment, a non-contributory pension scheme, holiday pay and the opportunity to eventually participate in our certificate scheme the STAK (purchase and sale of certificates). In addition, a company drink is held every Friday afternoon (the Keek op de Week) and several times a year our Staff Association organises cosy outings, parties and get-togethers.

We are looking for someone for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
