
(Jr.) Financial Controller (40 hours)

About the position
In your role as (Jr.) Financial Controller, together with the Group Controller and the finance team, you will be responsible for reliable and complete financialële administration within DO IT Organic. You ensure that the administrative organisation runs optimally with the right controls and are able to think along with our rapidly growing and changing organisation. You see it as a challenge to achieve professionalisation in this and innovate the department to a level that suits the future. In addition, you are busy preparing reports and looking back to provide good financialële steering information. You are the spider in the web in the Finance team.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly reports (including cash flow and hedging reports).
- Execute internal control (e.g. reconciliation of stock, debtors, creditors etc. balance sheet items with the sub-administration)
- Thinking along and implementing the financialële policy, design and operation of the internal control measures of the administrative organisation.
- Preparing and filing various tax returns (VAT, CPI, Packaging Tax for various countries/entities)
- Liaising with external parties such as auditor, Tax Authority, Bank and other relevant institutions.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations within the organisation.
- Thinking along and implementing further automation and digitalisation of our financialële processes.
Who are we looking for?
- You have at least a completed HBO education, preferably accountancy (financialële direction) / AA Accountant;
- You have at least accounting experience and are familiar with month-end closing. Experience from the composition practice is a plus;
- Good written and oral expression skills in Dutch and English;
- You are confident and like to ensure that agreements are kept;
- You ask questions and think proactively about how things can be improved
